Hambo Project #1 & JUGS #104

It's finally here! My first Hambo challenge project! I've had this card done for awhile, so it has felt like forever waiting to be able to post it on my blog (usually I post right after I make a card). So the challenge was to use this brand new Flower Monster Stamp and create a card with an item on it that begins with the letter of your first name. I decided to use jewels for my "j."

Here is the JUGS sketch that I used for this card:

Isn't this little guy cute? he's available for the first time today on the Hambo website, so go check him out! And isn't the sentiment "punny?"

These flowers were sent to me by one of my Big Sisters in the Divine Secret Siblings group that I'm a part of on SCS. The button is one of SU's corduroy buttons in Summer Sun.

The "stitches" are from an Amuse set that you can make plaid backgrounds with. The sketch had stitches, but I haven't gotten into sewing on cards, yet, so I thought this stamp would work nicely. The library clip is from SU. The twine is from the Twinery, and the jewels are from Amuse.

The cardstock and patterned papers are from PTI and the border punch from SU. I used my Copics to color the Flower Monster. This was fun to try to think of the "j" items that I could use on my card, and I look forward to seeing what everyone else has in store!
