I'm so pleased with how this card turned out! First I cut out two Mega Mat Stack #3 dies, and then cut a Mat Stack #4 into one of them. I stamped the SU woodgrain background over the full one, and PTI polka dot basics on the one with the Mat Stack #4 cut out of it.
I stamped and cut the little bucket spider out of PTI's Halloween Sweets and Treats stamp set and dies. The sentiment is also from that set. I tied the bucket on with baker's twine from The Twinery.
The cardstock is SU Perfect Plum, and the patterned paper came in that Making Memories Halloween pack that I've been using a lot of lately ;)
I made two of these cards, one for each of my PTI pen pals. One of them, Dana, actually was the one to give me the Sweets and Treats set for my birthday. Thanks, Dana! I have one more Halloween card to show you tomorrow, but I'm finally done making them. I may make a few tags for coworkers for some little treats I'm making them, but otherwise, gone is Halloween for me this year...on to Thanksgiving!
Adorable, Jessica! No wonder you are pleased with the results! I like the colors as well as your very creative mat layering. Great job. :)
ReplyDeleteI really love this, Jessica! Your little spider looks so cute dangling on the twine. Loving the purple, kraft, and black color combo, too!
