This is the beautiful card that CASE Study has for us to use as inspiration this week:
And this is what I created for my niece who will be here this coming Monday:
So I realize that there is a butterfly, not an elephant on the inspiration card, but I knew I wanted to use this little Hambo party elephant, so I substituted him instead ;)
The music is from PTI's Background Basics Sheet Music Set, and the notebook punch is from SU.
I think this card turned out so sweet, and one day, my niece, Autumn will love it. For now, I know her mom will! The cardstock is all from PTI, the ribbon is all from SU. The patterned paper is from AMuse. The punches are all from SU. The party elephant was colored with Copics, and the edges were inked with PTI's tea dye duo ink.
I think I say this about all of your cards, but this is adorable! You always find the cutest images and color them so beautifully. I love the way you stamped the sentiment, letting it go beyond the circle. It looks great, but I wouldn't have thought of it and would have driven myself crazy looking for a sentiment that "fit". It's just like you to be so clever. *smile*
ReplyDeleteIf your niece arrives on Monday, she can share a birthday with my little guy!
This is so cute and such a great idea for a new baby card!
