Yay! Its time for the 12 Kits of Christmas! It is getting close to the time to put on some holiday music...and hopefully see some snow this year! Not that I want to rush it, though, because I sure do love fall :) So anyway, enough with my gabbing. Are you wondering what this is? Check out my first post, here, it explains all the details. This month's kit was created by Kim. Check out all the great supplies she sent!
I just loved the colors she sent us, so fresh and different! So without further ado, here are the cards I created this month:
I just love the die cut words (you can probably tell since I used them on 3 out of 4 of my cards!) There were still several images in the kit that I didn't use, but that's okay, I have to save some for future casing! Here is the list of supplies that Kim sent us:
Solid Card Stock: PTI- Autumn Rose, Sweet Blush, Ivory, and White
Patterned Paper- Fancy Pants Designs-Winterland
Pearls and Bling: Stampin' Up
Ribbon- Joann's- Blue, PTI-Sweet Blush, SU Pleated Ribbon- Blushing Bride & SU Victorian Crochet Trim
Digital Images- Pink Petticoat
Buttons- PTI- Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist
Dies- PTI- Wonderful Words Holiday
Misc- Jingle Bells and Vellum Envelope
Embossing Folder- Cuttlebug Snowflakes
And then our newest addition to our monthly kit, a case. I cased one of Suzanne's cards from last month. Here's the card she created using Christina's kit:
You can check out the original card here. And then here is the card that I created. I actually had almost all the supplies left!

What beautiful cards you made. I love how you used those holiday words on so many cards. You were smart to spread them out. I think my favorite card is your first. I like how you made that notebook type edge on your focal point. Great case of Suzanne's, too. That is a really great design.
ReplyDeleteI love that the colors are not red and green. All those stripes on the patterned paper are fabulous!
ReplyDeletebeautiful set of cards! Love the 'holidy' one best!! Your case is great. yes the silent night was in my kit!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI love the holiday card best...
the way it sits on the paper and ribbon!
And what a perfect CASE!!
I didn't get to that this month so I'll have to make up next month! :)
And love how we got different sentiments...
makes it so much fun to see what everyone got! :)
LOVE the nontraditional colours and the pti words :) Hmmm, which one is mine? LOL I like to call my Christmas cards early ;)
ReplyDeleteYou made all such beautiful card Jessica. Each unique and your CASE is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love the cut out words too, Jessica. You did a great job showcasing them. I will use mine another time. I love the way you incorporated so many of the gorgeous items Kim sent us. I think I love your holiday one the best , and the pearls are just prefect! Beautiful CASE of Suzanne as well. They all look so pretty together!
ReplyDeleteYou did so many clever whimsical things with this kit Jessica - I love the ribbon hanging off the edge of the paper - the knoted lace - the buttons in pairs! They look like sprinkes on top! You really added so many little details that make these all so fun and eye catching!
ReplyDeleteYou must have worked so hard this month! Every card is gorgeous but I especially loved how you used different colors of shiny paper for the letters in your first card. That was so creative. I also really loved your tree card with the sheer ribbon and the holiday word on the embossed panel with those cute pearls. Just a fabulous job and a very neat CASE card too!
ReplyDeleteJessica, these are all so pretty! You did such an amazing job with Kim's kit! I love how you used the word die cuts. And you did such great things with the ribbons & lace. Love how you tied the lace! Your gorgeous holiday card is my favorite and one I am anxious to CASE!
ReplyDeleteJessica, these are all so creative and different from anything I would have ever thought of, one the reasons I love this group! My favorite card is your first one, I love the words using the shiny silver paper and this card is just so wintery, soft and sweet. I lover your CASE card too, so festive.
ReplyDeleteJessica, they're all so great! i know you were working on these when we got together a few weeks ago but I must not have been paying attention! I LOVE that holiday card, with the white snowflakes! And thank you so much for CASEing me!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love how you used those die cut words, Jessica! The first one looks great layered with the smaller punched sentiment, but my favorite is the "holiday" one with the gorgeous embossed panel and colorful striped paper. You did such a beautiful job with the kit this month!
ReplyDeleteYou've gone and done it again! FAB cards! My favorite is the first one with the striped paper. I just couldn't get a design right with that paper but now I can CASE this! I love the angled focal point (and I don't angle much at all..LOL). Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo fun, I love to see all the cards you all make from your kits. How many Christmas cards do you have so far?
