The 12 Kits of Christmas December 2012

Welcome to the last 12 Kits of Christmas post of 2012! I can't believe its here. I have enjoyed this group SO much! Because of it, I got my Christmas cards out in the first week of December this year, and that is a record for me! Usually I'm still working on them on Christmas eve, so they don't get sent out until late. I'm super excited about next year, there will be some changes, and I already have next month's kit containing some of the changes, so make sure to stop by on the last day in January to find out what I'm talking about!

Now, this months kit was sent by Sharron, and boy oh boy did I love it! In fact, I made the most cards that I've made out of any month...a total of 8!

And here are the 8 cards I made...a great start to my stash for 2013!

Oh my I had so much fun with this kit! I loved that it had both whimsical and non cutsey stuff in it. The papers were bright and fun, and I really loved that sparkly paper that the snow drifts were cut from! Here is what Sharron sent:

Stamps from Cas-ual Fridays, Lawn Fawn, PTI, and Wplus9
Cardstock from PTI, Stampin' Up, and WPlus9
Patterned Paper from Bo Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, and Sharron's LSS
Dies/Punches: Impression Obsession, Lifestyle Crafts, Memory Box, MFT, PTI, WPlus9, and Marvy
Embossing Folders: Sizzix/Hero Arts
Embellishments: Darcie, PTI, National Nonwovens, Paper Studio, and Recollections
Inks: Stampin Up and Memento

Now, let's go see what my other fellow "12 Kitters" made!

  3. What a great collection of cards! And what a great start for next year's Christmas cards! Hard to pick a favorite amongst all these fantastic cards, but the first one really appeals to me. I think it's so decorative, yet clean and simple, and I love the bling you've added to the great sentiment!

  5. EIGHT CARDS??? You must have gotten the "make your own" package! I really like seeing how you used everything to make this kit your own. I really like the sprinkle of gems and how you split the deer up. I couldn't figure out what to do with the mittens and sweaters - you made it look easy!

  6. Wow, Jessica--look at all your gorgeous cards! I agree, it was so wonderful to have cards ready early this year, so can't wait to start another year! Love what you did with the kit. You picked just the right patterns for the background and then chose images that really popped! The bling on the first card, the deer against the blue, the birds and then the trees against the neutral fox card--all are so wonderful. And your little snowman are SO ADORABLE! Hope you have a wonderful New Year!

  12. Get out, Jessica! You made so many cards this month, and they're all incredible! Your first card is my absolute favorite--love that trio of big gems and the falling snow. I also love how you stacked the deer on top of the word "joy" on the second one. The layered embellishments are just perfect! Amazing work this month--I'll be visiting again and again when I get stuck for ideas to use up my leftover supplies!
