Make It Monday #22

This week's Make It Monday Challenge was to stamp using ink refills. Well, I only own 3, lol, so I was very limited on my choices. One is white, so I knew that wouldn't work well on white cardstock, the others are Perfect Plum, and Pumpkin Pie (why? who knows!). So anyway, I chose not to do the "multi color" part of the challenge, but I did still try the technique with the dandelion part of the flower in purple. It was pretty neat that you can use reinker as the 'stamp pad.' I think the card turned out really feminine and pretty. Here it is:

Although the picture is pretty dark, here is a close up of the flowers. You almost can't tell that I did the technique, but it did give them varying colors of darkness and lightness, rather than all the same color like it would with the stamp pad.

I used this year's PTI Anniversary set for the flowers and sentiment. The patterned paper is SU DSP. The doily is one of the PTI dies. The pearls, border punch, and cardstock are SU. The twine I got from my local stamp store. This card is for one of my PTI penpals. I think she'll really like it :)
