cQc #87

So here is this week's color Q challenge (don't they always choose the cutest little creations to get the colors from?)

And here is the graduation card I designed for my cousin using those colors:

The flower was sent to me from my Big Sis in the Divine Secret Siblings on Splitcoast Stampers, and the button was given to me as a total surprise from my new PTI penpal, Dana! We have made an awesome connection, and I told her how I didn't have any PTI buttons, and the next week I had a package in the mail and she had sent me a bunch of hers! But the best part was that she created the cute wrapping she put it in! (I should have taken a pic of that, but I couldn't wait to get into those buttons!)

The clips are another great find while doing spring cleaning at work...and they were the perfect colors, too!!

I used the PTI Alpha blocks set and matching die for the "2011" and also used the PTI Grunge Me set for the circles at the top right corner. I had a Sizzix embossing folder that matched that perfectly, so that is what I used on the Soft Suede strip on the bottom. The border punch, and the bracket, the label punch, and all cardstock and patterned paper are from SU. The orange rhinestones are from A.C. Moore.
