Color Throwdown #153

I decided to play along with Color Throwdown's challenge this week. Here are the colors:

And here's my card:

It is a specially folded card that I learned from a Hero Art's DVD that my friend let me borrow. I've never made a card like this, but I love how it turned out!

I'm getting a lot of mileage out of that MFT stamp set I got recently :) You can also see that I used the PTI Background Basics Tin Types that I just got at SAF, too. The rosette is from Suzanne, who recently gave me several to use in several colors. I also used PTI's Polka Dot back ground set for her shirt. The mat is a Nestabilities die.

And this card paired perfectly with the peach salsa I just made on Friday night with the peaches the Phillip and I picked last weekend :)

I sampled it last night (and today) and it is delicious! There aren't even any tomatoes, it is really just made of peaches (and a bunch of other veggies).

I've been having a lot of fun with my new hobby, canning. Its especially fun to give what I make away, and I can't give it away "naked!" So I get to make up lots of tags and matching cards :) On the jar I used the Friendship Jar set and the fillers set from PTI. I also used the matching jar topper die. The blue cardstock is aqua mist from PTI. The pearls are from SU, the mat from Nestabilities. On the card I used both SU and PTI cardstock, the ribbon is from SU, and the rest of the supplies are all listed above.
