PTI July Blog Hop

This month's challenge was an inspiration photo:

I love the colors in the photo, I have definitely used them before. Here is what I created

I used the brand new stamp set, Iconic Images that is the exclusive set created for Stamp-a-Faire and also the Half and Half set and die that I got in my last order.

Isn't this little hanger so cute? I found it at my local stamp store. They're Tim Holtz Idea-ology Hanger Clips.

I used the woodgrain impression plate that I just purchased at Stamp-a-Faire, but I still feel like it doesn't show up much :( Here is me trying to show the texture:

I knew I wanted to use the new set that I just got at Stamp-a-Faire this weekend (by the way, come back later for pictures from the event!) and then I thought how the hanger embellishment could go with it, so out came this card :) I pretty much said above where everything else came from, but the pearls are Just Peachy from Queen & Co., the punch is from SU, and the paper is a mixture between SU and PTI. I used one of my Nestabilities dies for the frame for the silhouette.

  6. So beautiful, Jessica! I love those hangers and I can't believe you've busted out that set already! I had the BEST BEST time with you at SAF. I am still smiling about it all. You're so great for coming along and thanks again for the hotel. I realized looking at all my pics that it seems you met everyone there - you chatted it up with everyone on either side of you at each table! So cute.

  7. Hey Jessica, I found you. Cute card. I was so tired from this weekend and working today, but I also managed to play along in the Hop. It was great meeting you at SAF and I look forward to seeing what you create in the future.

  8. Beautiful! Love how you hung the silhouette as a picture from the hanger! To make your impression show up a bit better, try spritzing it with a fine mist of water and then lay the impression side down on this and run it through your machine. HTH!

  11. Super cute and colorful! The hanger is just perfect for the silhouette, what a great find! Sorry to hear the woodgrain impression wasn't as deep as you'd hoped, but definitely try misting it with water. I also find that PTI's cardstock impresses better because it is a heavier weight than SU's.

Thanks again for hanging out with me at SAF and making it such an incredible experience! You are just so much fun to be around! We'll have to get together again soon!
