Copic coloring on the peaches to make them look realistic and I made that little plaid shirt with the gingham PTI background stamp, and cut it out.
Close up of the button. With the Crystal Effects, it turned out more orangey than red...when I started, it looked just like her shirt! Also, don't believe the video when it says it only takes 30 minutes to dry...it was over an hour and I still smudged it when putting it on here, but I didn't have time to mess around, so here it is, lol. Don't try this when you're in a time crunch!
The girl and peaches are from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from PTI. The cardstock and ribbon are all from SU. And the gingham stamp, as mentioned above is also PTI. This is a quick post so I can link up to the JUGS contest this week ;) Its too late for the JUGS challenge, but if you'd like to try this week's colorQ, click here.
What a CA-UTE card!! Love your design and use of the color palette, and your button is delightful :]
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with Just Us Girls this week!!
You ARE a peach! THAT button is adorable - fun technique, eh? {I'm planning on keeping this one HANDY!} Thanks for sharing your darling work with Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteSweet card, Jessica! Love that basket of peaches. Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ again this week.
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this card? I LOVE that gingham shirt and sweet basket of peaches! Your button looks fab, too, but I have also found that red ink bleeds a little when using Glossy Accents. This turned out super cute!
