The 12 Kits of Occasions February 2015

Bye Bye Birdie was the theme this month...isn't that cute? Sharron did not disappoint with the many different kinds of birds in her kit! It was so much fun to choose which ones to use and believe me, I still have about 20 more birds sitting on my desk! My favorite two cards are the first two that I made, but the crane one reminds me so much of my grandma. If she were here I would love to send it to her. She used to have a crane that would come in her yard daily. She named it Liz and fed it hotdogs! It was nice to work with this kit, too, to remember that spring is right around the corner (which is hard to believe when you look out and see so much snow!). Check out my cards below and make sure to go to the 12 Kits blog to check out what all my talented crafty friends came up with! I know I will be going to check them out for sure! Thanks for stopping by :)

  3. Jessica these are all wonderful! I love the background papers and how you used it on the second card. You used all the patterned paper to make great backgrounds. Hope you and your sweet family are staying warm.

  4. Hi Jessica! I really enjoy hopping around and seeing how everyone used everything differently. The birds on the wire were so clever to hide the line from where you cut out the sentiment - really brilliant! I love the cranes with the asian looking border (something I didnt use) - I like that they're facing opposite directions and bit of bling - so eye pleasing!

  9. Love all of your cards Jessica. I am so glad that you are still in our group, because I really miss seeing your creations. My guess is that you are too busy to do much more than our 12 kits. You did such a fantastic job with Sharron's kit--I especially like your crane card and the story about your grandmother.
