Totally Hues Challenge #3

So this challenge is from a really cool blog I found through my friend Suzanne's blog. Check it out here if you want to play along. At first, I'll admit, I was not loving these colors when in a full sheet of cardstock next to each other, but in the end result...I love them! I think they really pop off the page. I worked my Copic skills on the Year of Flowers Sweet Pea PTI set that I had actually never inked up, yet. This took time, but I'm pleased with the result. I also used Versa Mark to stamp one of the sweet peas all over the card for a background. This is for a co-worker's wife who I helped to get hooked on Sizzix dies on her birthday this year...her husband is not loving me for it now ;) hehe Anyway, she's cleaning out her craft room and guess who gets all the extra supplies?? Yours truly :) If that doesn't deserve a Thank-You, what does?

All paper and stamps PTI. Border punch SU, ribbon Michaels, markers, Copics, ink Memento black and SU sage shadow, and Versa Mark

  1. Jessica - ok, I'm caught! I love checking your blog and today got such a surprise. I can't wait to see 'my' card in person tonight (make sure he doesn't forget to bring it home!) It is a beautiful card. How do you do this after working all day? Thank you so so much. p.s. I ordered quite a few things on Sizzix.com but, sshhhhh don't tell. Gerry

  4. Jess, this is probably my favorite card of yours ever. I love how you stamped the outline of the flowers on the blue, and your colored flowers are perfect! Those Copics classes are paying off...you super lucky girl to get those extra supplies. :) I used to play along in the Curtain Call color challenge but she stopped doing it. I found this one on Laurie's blog and it looks like it's monthly, which I like. Awesome layout, too. I am gonna try this one out.
