Make it Monday #57: Colored Kissing

I have a friend who had some absolutely fabulous news yesterday, so I wanted to make her a card to let her know how happy I am for her! I used PTI's Make It Monday to create this card for her:

I used PTI's Signature Series Dress Form, Mat Stack #1, Glory Be, the Fillagree border die, In Bloom patterned paper, Smokey Shadow ribbon and cardstock, and Melon Berry cardstock.

The kissing technique was pretty fun to do. I used the BB Tin Types to "kiss." It's a really cool technique and you should all give it a shot!

  1. This is really wonderful. I love that dress form with the kissing technique. Funny--I have used that die but never the stamp. Looks great with the filigree border and that in bloom paper, too.

  2. OH great job on the kissing technique, Jessica! That was a good stamp to use too. Very sweet of you to make this pretty card for your friend that shared her good news. You have me interested in what the good news was….:) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  3. This is awesome Jessica! I love how you used the kissing technique and the layout and extra touches (gems, etc.) are fabulous.

  4. Jessica, what a beautiful and stylish card and the colors are just so perfect for it.

  5. What a fabby card!!!
And I do believe I know this friend and their oh so fabulous news!! ;)
    She will love this...
and how sweet of you to make this for her! :)
You did fabulous with this technique...
    but it's outta my league...
though I do think it's gorgeous!!

  6. What a pretty, feminine card! The kissing technique on the dress form worked wonderfully. And the Filigree Border looks so lovely against the patterned paper!

  7. Wow! This is wonderful. Love the color combo and the pattern you stamped in the dress form. I've been a bad blogging friend, but I promise to be better! Welcome to The Paper Dolls!

  8. The kissed stamping looks fantastic on the dress form! Love how you framed it with the Mat Stack and used some of that beautiful In Bloom paper. The whole thing is just so fun and girly!

  9. What a wonderful card Jessica! Every element is just perfect. You nailed that technique. Hope you are well.

I am thrilled that you have come to check out my cards :) I truly love getting comments, thank you so much for writing one to me!
