It's that time again, time for the 12 Kits of Christmas! :) If you just stumbled upon this post and have no idea what I'm talking about, see my first post, here, where I explain what it's all about. This month's kit is from Suzanne!! She seriously sent so much stuff that I could have created several more cards, but I stopped at SIX!! Take a peek at the supplies she sent:
And without further ado, here are the cards I created with the kit contents:
Everything above was in the kit except the card bases, the holly berry die, the pine bough die, and the snow drifts die. These are not usually stamps or papers that I would have on hand, but good grief, it was fun getting to experiment with them! I can't believe that I even created purple Christmas cards! But I love them :) I feel like some of the cards turned out so vintage. It is hard for me to pick a favorite, but I think that the purple one with the text snow and the first card turned out to be my favorite (you know I love the cutie pie bird ;) What do you think? I am dying to see what everyone else created with their kits, and I bet you are, too :) Off you go onto the blog hop!

I am in awe...six fabulous cards! I love them all but the way you colored santa and his reindeer are just so beautiful, you are just so talented. I really love how it looks as if you used everything in the kit...I do plan to pin these and make more cards. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI do love the purple one as well Jessica , but I think the little snowman dancing on your card might be my favorite :) What a great idea to add the hills for the stamp with the trees, love how that turned out! You did such a great job with all these cards and you colored your sleigh, looks beautiful. Your snowman card is adorable I loved that guy too, I kept hoping I would not mess him up because I really wanted to use him. Love them all!!!
ReplyDeleteOk Jessica....you must stop. hehe I barely squeaked out 2 this month and you did 6?? They are all fabulous and you used tons of Suzanne's goodies for them! What a hard decision but my favorite is the repeated snowman image card. That is just a fun and unique image. Great job Jessica! I can't believe how much fun I'm having with these kits!
ReplyDeleteI love this blog hop each month. WOW! Your cards are all gorgeous! Love, love, love what you created!

I'm really loving the snow hill...
it looks so fabulous with that image and paper...
I never thought of that! :)
And the dancing snowman...
isn't he just precious and I love the ribbon treatment with him!
They're all so fabby...
just a fantastic array of yummies! :)
Wow! You knocked this one out - 6 cards! All fab! I'm drooling over the purple one with the reindeer where the words are the snow drift - Breathtaking! You did a wonderful job - they are all beautiful - each has a standout of it's own - that striped ribbon with the bells. Wow! You really out did yourself! Wonderful - I'm going to have to come back later and stare at all the details!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know where to begin! I love the bird card, and how you added the pine diecuts, and all the patterned paper looks so good...I love how you colored the snowman because I completely gave up on him after 4 tries, and the text hills in the purple card! WOW!
ReplyDeleteWow!! 6 cards?!?! Each one is so unique and lovely!! I love how you mixed and matched all of the papers!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you did an amazing job with this kit! I've already sketched out the first one to CASE with my remaining supplies--I love how the bird is perched on the sentiment panel. They are all so amazing, but I think my favorite is the one with the snow drifts out of text paper. Wow! Awesome inspiration this month!
ReplyDeleteSix cards, wow! I love the bird on the Noel sentiment with that great striped ribbon and lace. what adorable snowman paper...and those pine branches, I love that you made the hills. Ith the buttons and twine. My favorite was the snowman card with the holly and buttons. BEautiful, beautiful cards, and still can't believe you made so many!
ReplyDeleteOh wow these are all so great, Jessica...you created such variety from one kit! My fave has to be the little birdie card with the jingle bells and the musical background!
ReplyDeleteOMG, SIX cards--and you did an fabulous job with all your designs! Your coloring looks wonderful too! I was afraid I would mess up if I tried to color Santa with his sleigh. Love how you finished the snowman--the buttons & holly are great accents! Super job with the kit! Now I am so anxious to play with my leftover supplies--so much fantastic inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteWow--you are quite the over achiever this month! Six cards, and all of them are unique and stunning. I love them all, and plan to use some of my leftovers and copy yours. I especially like your first card--that bird is darling--looking at your card now, I can't believe I didn't use that guy--but now I'm glad I still have him.
