Make It Monday #5

This week's challenge was distressing. I rarely distress, in fact I do it so rare that when I was taking a photo of my card, my husband came up behind me and pointed at some of the distressing ink on the front and said "what happened there?" LOL So I think this card turned out really Western Looking. I wouldn't really call it my style, but I'm glad that I tried it. The border is cut out of Fun Foam which was actually started for last week's Make It Monday challenge that I didn't get done in time to enter, so I did two in one :) The cool thing about this Fun Foam is that it had a sticky back! So I didn't have to worry about how to get it to stay on the card :) I used the Delightful Doilies Set and matching Die to get the orange doilie. The happy birthday embellishment is from...what else? Color Couture, of course! Again, thanks to Dawn McVey for making those...I get so many compliments any time I use the colors and embellishments. It was a wonderful investment! The pearls and the punch on the back are SU in addition to the ribbon. All other supplies are PTI.
