Hi everyone! Welcome back for another month of the 12 Kits of Occasions. This month was newcomer Nancy, who blew us away! Not only was it supplies, it was a BOX of supplies including watercolor paint, pencils, and tons of beautiful and intricate dies, and new stamps that I've never laid my hands on. I definitely had to ask questions, because I'm not used to these supplies, but it was so fun! On the first card I used the masking fluid she sent to paint over the flowers so that when I watercolored they would stay white, wow, it was neat! You just rub it away at the end! As always, I could have made a ton more cards, but I'm happy with what I created for now (after I see everyone else's cards I'm going to want to bust this kit out again :) Make sure to stop by the 12 Kits blog afterward to see what all my talented friends created as well!
These are all gorgeous works of art Jessica! What a fun kit this must have been.
ReplyDeleteThese are terrific, Jessica! So glad you had fun using the masking fluid. Love seeing all your touches of creativity on each card!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Jessica! Love your watercolored and masked card, that turned out great! The background on the butterfly card is so pretty, looks like we all enjoyed doing that one.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Wasn't this fun! You did an amazing job with the watercolors. I was going to try the masking fluid and then got distracted playing with the salt. Love how great your magnolias look!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Jessica!! Totally in love with the first card that you masked...why didn't I think of that??!! But I still have that piece, so I will definitely be trying that out! I have been so honored to play along side of each of you this month, and had a blast playing with all the supplies, and then seeing what all of you talented ladies came up with using the same supplies! Thank you, thank you!! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful group of cards Jessica!! I didn't give the masking fluid a try, but your card looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica! Looks like you had as much fun as me! Lots of beautiful cards! You mastered watercoloring! I love the pretty washes you made and YAYYY you used the cork dots! Amazing cards - I love them all!
ReplyDeleteJessica so many fabulous cards and I love that you used the masking fluid for the white flowers, that one turned out amazing! I like the paper you chose for the butterfly and tht you used the positive of the butterfly, I considered it but wasn't sure how and you did it perfectly! I also love that you used the embellishment--cork dots and the blue jewelry. Love all of your cards!

ReplyDeleteLove all of your amazing creations, Jessica. Great idea to water color paint around those pretty gold embossed flowers, and your fun and sparkly card with all those gems.
ReplyDeleteJessica, you did such an awesome job with this kit! I agree with Joyce...such a fabulous idea to paint around the embossed magnolias! I love that you were able to use all the different embellishments in the kit. They were so neat and I kind of forgot about them as I was creating. Two of my faves are the pink flowers paired with the bold chevron print and you diamond card. I tried so hard to arrange them all on a card like you did and couldn't come up with a winning arrangement. Brilliant that you overlapped two of them. Can't wait to CASE it.
