12 Kits of Occasions December 2013

Hi everyone! Guess what? This month was MY month to host the 12 Kits of Occasions! And I got my favorite occasion...Christmas :) This year I didn't do solely Paper Smooches like last year, but you know I couldn't go without some of the adorable characters and sentiments from my favorite company :) I also added in some Mama Elephant and Lawn Fawn for a fun mix up. Sadly I just sat down to work on my cards yesterday so I didn't get as much done as I could have, but hey I've already got 5 Christmas cards done for next year! Make sure to scroll to the bottom for info on the PRIZE!! ;)

First off I couldn't resist making an "ugly" sweater, since those are so in trend. As a card this is pretty cute, though. I made it extra tacky with a huge corduroy button nose on the reindeer!

Do you like the word dies you see in this next card? Want a chance to WIN them?? Well that is this month's prize, so make sure to leave a comment ;)

Well that does it...for now! I save all my reminants from the kits and boy am I glad that I do because I was about 15 cards short this year, so I pulled out my leftovers and knocked those cards out in no time! So now I have plenty left over for next year's cards, too. Now for my supplies used:

Okay, I think that does it on the supplies, if I missed something that you are interested in, let me know!

Now I know you may be a bit interested in that prize I mentioned! Well, here's how to get it, go visit my friends' blogs and leave them a little love, I will randomly pick a winner on Thursday and announce it on the 12 Kits blog, so make sure to check there to see if you were a winner! Good luck, and have fun viewing all their gorgeous creations :)

  8. Thank you so very much for this amazing kit. I just loved it, and I hope that you can tell from all the cards I was able to make (and still have left overs). Your cards are fantastic, too. You are the queen of the cute, as always. I think I have to say that your little birdies are my favorite, and the 'ugly' sweater (which is not even ugly) gets the best idea prize.

  9. Jessica your kit was SO generous! Right down to the actual, real, live woodgrain stamps, hee! I adored the sweet woodland critters. I don't have any of those stamps, and you are making me want them all! Your "ugly" sweater is the un-ugliest one I have ever seen ;) The corduroy brad is hilarious. I didn't want to even use mine up, loved those! The birdie card is super dee duper cute with how they are tucked into the sentiment. The poinsettia is so fab with those die cut sentiments, such an elegant flair but so fun, TOO! Thanks again for such an inspirational kit! :)XO...and that super sweet Christmas card with adorable Sonny!

I don't think that is the ugliest sweater I have ever seen...that is a pretty big nose for Rudolph though! I also really love your Santa and Mrs Claus card...they are such cute images. I can't believe you made these all yesterday! Great job and thanks again for a very fun month.

  12. Jessica...this was one amazing kit, I loved every piece of it and so happy to say that I do have left overs to play with another day. With a brand new sweet baby boy, I have no clue how you found the time to do all that you did to make our kits so chocked full of goodness but you did, so my guess is that you just don't sleep. Thank you again, and wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year!
