This month was hosted by the fabulous Christina! Oh I had so much fun working with this kit! The colors were gorgeous and the patterned papers so much fun. The theme this month was birthdays, and that is a good thing because I have no birthday cards...I always give them away right after I make them, which of course isn't helpful when I realize I need a birthday card in a pinch. So this will help to build my stash.
And now on to the cards that I made this month. (The first one is my favorite! :)
I think your favorite is my favorite too!! I also love how you used the wave paper and those wood veneer stars remind me of starfish! So clever!! Love how you used the fortune cookie and take-out box. So glad I saved mine;)!!
ReplyDeleteI really lovin' all the fortune cookies/take outs...
ReplyDeleteI think it's such they're such fun elements and everyone has used them so differently! :)
But I love that first one too...
the mix of papers is fantastic!
They're all fabulous! :)
Jessica, seriously? These are totally awesome cards!!! WOW! Your rocked it!
ReplyDeleteeek! Those banners are making me smile! :)
ReplyDeleteThe fortune cookie cards are so cute...yours is adorable and colored and shaded perfectly. I love what you have done this month Jessica, the wave card really stands out as a show stopper. Great job.
ReplyDeleteJessica first I want to tell you how nice your photography is! Everything is clean and bright and so colorful. I love how you mixed your pattern papers - you really let them shine through vs. covering them up with embellishments. Great cards ALL! I can see how much fun you had - it shows!
ReplyDeleteOh my, oh my....wow! I love your batch of cards, each and everyone. You truly have the gift of creativity! But I have to say that your chinese take out food is simply amazing, from your coloring to your placement of all the components to your choice of patterned paper! Stunning work of art.
ReplyDeleteWow, you did an amazing job with this month's kit! You always inspire me with your fearless use of the patterned papers, and every one of your cards is absolutely cheerful and fun as a result. Your designs are so original, and I especially love the way you used the fortune with the ocean waves--so clever! I will definitely keep revisiting this post for ideas on how to layer my papers in the future!
ReplyDeleteOMG Jessica!!!! You are a rock star with these kits!!! You just amaze me!!! I am in LOVE with your takeout box card.....the chopsticks look so real!!! And like others have said.....you really know how to use the patterns well!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the first one too! But they are all so amazing--awesome job of using the patterned papers! The papers with the fortune cookie are perfect and your layout is fabulous. Another super layout is the one with the waves. Love how you used the banners and the star accents!
ReplyDeleteI love these all, and I don't think I could pick a favorite, so please don't make me try. They all have so much of 'you' in them--the bright colors and patterns are so festive. I have missed seeing your posts lately (I guess you are busy baking up a baby!), so it is even more fun to come and see all of these happy cards.
ReplyDeleteJessica these are all fantastic. I really love how you combined the yellow patterned papers on your first card, love that you used the tag (CASEing that one) and you used the lanterns so perfectly on the ice cream patterned paper. Hope you are keeping well, I imagine you are rounding that corner now. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica! So sorry I am late but I was gone for a week and just got back.
ReplyDeleteWow you did an amazing job with this fun kit! The fortune cookie card is gorgeous and I love the stars and gold sequins on that one. You last one is perfection!!! I think I just might have enough supplies to make that one.
Bet you cant wait now… it will be here before you know it!
WOW! These are AWESOME Jessica! I especially like the fortune cookie card and the sunburst card.
