The 12 Kits of Christmas December 2012

Welcome to the last 12 Kits of Christmas post of 2012! I can't believe its here. I have enjoyed this group SO much! Because of it, I got my Christmas cards out in the first week of December this year, and that is a record for me! Usually I'm still working on them on Christmas eve, so they don't get sent out until late. I'm super excited about next year, there will be some changes, and I already have next month's kit containing some of the changes, so make sure to stop by on the last day in January to find out what I'm talking about!
Now, this months kit was sent by Sharron, and boy oh boy did I love it! In fact, I made the most cards that I've made out of any month...a total of 8!
And here are the 8 cards I made...a great start to my stash for 2013!

Oh my I had so much fun with this kit! I loved that it had both whimsical and non cutsey stuff in it. The papers were bright and fun, and I really loved that sparkly paper that the snow drifts were cut from! Here is what Sharron sent:

Cardstock from PTI, Stampin' Up, and WPlus9
Patterned Paper from Bo Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, and Sharron's LSS
Dies/Punches: Impression Obsession, Lifestyle Crafts, Memory Box, MFT, PTI, WPlus9, and Marvy
Embossing Folders: Sizzix/Hero Arts
Embellishments: Darcie, PTI, National Nonwovens, Paper Studio, and Recollections
Inks: Stampin Up and Memento
Now, let's go see what my other fellow "12 Kitters" made!

  1. How awesome to already have a head start on next year!! I love all the fabulous die cuts...amazing cards!

  2. Jess, they're all great but my favorite is the first one because of the bling! I just thing it looks so perfect clustered together on that card. Happy New Year!

  3. What a great collection of cards! And what a great start for next year's Christmas cards! Hard to pick a favorite amongst all these fantastic cards, but the first one really appeals to me. I think it's so decorative, yet clean and simple, and I love the bling you've added to the great sentiment!

  4. I really enjoyed this group too! And, like you, I had all my card out so early and with NO STRESS!! Looking forward to the changes for next year!! Loe your cards! You managed to use some papers that I loved, but wasn't quite sure how to use. I love those adorable snowmen!!:)

  5. EIGHT CARDS??? You must have gotten the "make your own" package! I really like seeing how you used everything to make this kit your own. I really like the sprinkle of gems and how you split the deer up. I couldn't figure out what to do with the mittens and sweaters - you made it look easy!

  6. Wow, Jessica--look at all your gorgeous cards! I agree, it was so wonderful to have cards ready early this year, so can't wait to start another year! Love what you did with the kit. You picked just the right patterns for the background and then chose images that really popped! The bling on the first card, the deer against the blue, the birds and then the trees against the neutral fox card--all are so wonderful. And your little snowman are SO ADORABLE! Hope you have a wonderful New Year!

  7. What a fun kit...
and I can't believe you got 8 cards done...
Love that tree and red bird...
    that's my favorite.
    And such adorable snowmen...
this kit was just too fabulous!! :)

  8. Jessica, I think you win the prize for making the most cards, 8 wow! Love them all but your first card is my favorite, I really like your use of the bling below your sentiment, just beautiful. Your last card is a close second, how can you not fall in love with those adorable little guys, just too cute!

  9. Wow...did you go to town with all your cards, so many and so creative. I love the snowman scene and how you added the pretty blue bird to it, wish I had thought of that one! I also love the sweaters and mittens hanging from the birch tree. That is such a fun card. You made so many great cards this year...thanks for all the inspiration. Happy New Year!

  10. Wow… you sure went to town! Love the first one the best it's so elegant, and the bling so pretty. Another favorite is the one with the fox… elegant and cozy! You hung the clothes in the trees like Cathy and I , love it! Great job! Hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year Jess!

  11. So many wonderful cards Jessica, amazing bling on your first card. Love the patterned paper and how the deer is standing on the pine boughs in the second card. The cute red bird on the birch is so sweet. LOVE the clothes hanging in the tree, so creative. I also love that royal blue ribbon, yummo! Happy New Year Jessica, I have so enjoyed getting to know you this year. xoxo

  12. Get out, Jessica! You made so many cards this month, and they're all incredible! Your first card is my absolute favorite--love that trio of big gems and the falling snow. I also love how you stacked the deer on top of the word "joy" on the second one. The layered embellishments are just perfect! Amazing work this month--I'll be visiting again and again when I get stuck for ideas to use up my leftover supplies!

  13. Wow Jessica! Love all the cards you made! The mittens on the snowman on the last card make me smile really big!! And I just love all the details on each card - they are all special! It is so fun to see all the different cards created with like supplies! :)Jill

  14. Very impressive makes, Jessica! I think the award for making the most cards from the kit goes to you. Thank you so much for all the stunning inspiration!!

    Happy New Year!!

  15. Wow--I think you made the most cards. They are all fantastic. You found ways to use everything, even the things that stumped me. I love what you did with the sweaters (those stumped me), and your snowmen are just darling. Love how you made them so cozy with your coloring.

I am thrilled that you have come to check out my cards :) I truly love getting comments, thank you so much for writing one to me!
